NIOS to Continue OBE Programme for 6-14 age group

It has been decided to continue the Open Basic Education Programme for 6-14 age group. The MHRD letter vide no. DO 10-4/2009-EE-4 dated 7th April 2010 has permitted NIOS to continue its OBE programme for 6-14 age group for a period of three years wef 1st April, 2010.

Following the permission by MHRD, NIOS has advised its Accredited Agencies to continue the programme. All agencies are to follow the OBE Guidelines for maintaining equivalency of this OBE programme.
